What the tracker does
The tracker organises actual household expenses by month, category and frequency. It shows this month, the previous month, month-on-month movement, the current year, remaining category budgets and the highest-spending category.
Private approved access
The same approved email and PIN unlock both detailed expense trackers. Access follows payment and administrator approval. The tracker does not create a public profile and records are connected only to the approved account.
Adding expenses
Choose a predefined Irish household category and expense, or add a custom name. Select monthly, annual, one-off or recurring frequency. Recurring entries can repeat automatically or be entered month by month, with a start month and optional end month.
Editing and deleting
A recurring expense can be changed for one month only or for that month and all future months. Deleting an occurrence removes only the selected month, preserving the rest of the series.
Category budgets
Optional monthly category limits are shown as progress bars. The interface does not send alerts; when a limit is reached, the category turns red and displays a light inline warning.
Reports and exports
Export the current month, a selected date range or the full saved history as a branded PDF or Excel/CSV file. Reports remain estimates and personal records, not financial advice.
Security, privacy and confidentiality
Saved tracker records are encrypted before storage and access is restricted to the approved account. Use Sign Out on shared devices. No system can promise absolute security, so MortgageGuide explains its controls and limitations rather than making unsupported guarantees.
